Literature Text
I walk through this crowded hallway
Brushing against beautiful girls and
The broad desirable males that lust
After the stereotypical sluts in leggings
That are a size too small. They know
So they starve themselves to stay thin
And put their daily smiles on but even
The most fortunate of the high schools
Celebrities could never be content.
They drown themselves in alcohol
And homework to forget the pain
That resides in their unknown hearts.
They think that no one understands,
That they're the unfortunate ones
With their drama and average struggles
Of everyday life. How could they see
Me walking here without anyone
To speak and share my laughter
And pain with? I walked by unnoticed.
Brushing against beautiful girls and
The broad desirable males that lust
After the stereotypical sluts in leggings
That are a size too small. They know
So they starve themselves to stay thin
And put their daily smiles on but even
The most fortunate of the high schools

And homework to forget the pain

They think that no one understands,
That they're the unfortunate ones
With their drama and average struggles
Of everyday life. How could they see
Me walking here without anyone
To speak and share my laughter
And pain with? I walked by unnoticed.

Get Better
Mommy, I think I want you to send me away.
Maybe I can get better.
And not cut anymore.
Maybe I can be a kid again.
It seems so long ago.
But i'm really still a kid, just with adult problems.
Maybe I could get better.
I could be like the other kids.
Happy.
Is it sad to crave that?
Happiness.
If everyone is entittled to happiness,
Why don't I have some?
Is there not enough to go around?
Someone share!
Sharing is caring.
Please!
Fine don't bother to care.
Maybe I could get better.
I'd do better in school.

reality?
You want me to save
The person you all see;
I'm dying to save
The girl I'll never be.

Have You Ever?
Have you ever,
cried until very,
late at night?
Have you ever,
felt so tired,
but, you can't,
sleep,
because, you Cant.
Stop.,
Thinking.?
Have you ever,
looked at the clock,
which read 3:00am?
Have you ever,
cried to yourself,
begged your thoughts,
to just let you sleep?
Have you ever,
just laid there,
trying not to think?
Have you ever,
waited for hours,
in pain,
in love,
with no hope,
just to fall,
A,
S,
L,
E,
E,
P,
I have...
